He competed in the Featherweight division of Rizin Fighting Federation and is notable for his time in Shooto, where he held the Pacific Rim Welterweight Championship. Boku has also fought in several other promotions including ONE Championship, DREAM, King of the Cage, S-Cup, Cage Force, and K-1 HERO'S, showcasing his skills across various fighting styles.
