Krasimir Stoyanov is a Bulgarian politician affiliated with the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and served as the chief secretary to President Georgi Parvanov. He graduated from VHTI in Sofia in 1974 specializing in electrochemistry and later studied political science at the Academy of Social Sciences in Moscow in 1985. Stoyanov has held several political positions including political aide, leader of the parliamentary support group, and chief advisor in the National Assembly. Since 2000, he has been an active member of the BSP's executive committee.
