Krešimir Zubak is a Croatian politician from Bosnia and Herzegovina, born on January 25, 1947, in Doboj. He joined the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) at the onset of the Bosnian War in 1992. Following the removal of Mate Boban in late 1993, Zubak became president of the presidential council of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg Bosnia. He played a significant role in peace negotiations between HVO and ARBiH in February 1994 and in establishing the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was elected a member of the presidency in 1996, receiving 90% of the votes from the Croatian community.
