Krishna Charan Behera (June 2, 1932 - July 29, 2017) was an acclaimed Odia literary figure, awarded by the Odisha Sahitya Akademi. He was known for his diverse writings in poetry, short stories, novels, essays, and children's literature. Born in Arjunabindha, Bhadrak district, he graduated from Viswabharati University and earned a PhD from Utkal University in 1967. He served as a lecturer in Odia at Ravenshaw College and was the head of the department at Bhadrak Women's College from 1990 to 1992. He was also active in literary organizations and held leadership roles in promoting Odia literature.
