Kristian Tangen is a Norwegian trade union figure born on December 7, 1975. He trained as a care worker and worked in the home care service in Trondheim until 2002, after which he joined LO. He led Fagforbundet Ung from 2003 to 2007, later serving as district secretary in LO Sør-Trøndelag. In 2009, he became a LO secretary and was involved in various board positions. Although he stepped back from his leadership role in 2013 to focus on family, he later became region leader after the merging of LO's district offices in Trøndelag in 2018.
