Kristian Trægde was a Norwegian meteorologist and weather forecaster born on June 29, 1915, in Hille, near Mandal, Norway. He served as the state meteorologist at the Meteorological Institute from 1962 to 1980 and was one of Norway's first meteorologists on television. Trægde became a popular TV personality, participating in various entertainment programs on NRK, including hosting 'Klart det går!' in 1981. His charming smile made him a symbol of the cheerful Sørlandet region. He is referenced in Otto Nielsen's revue song 'Kjære Trægde'.
