Kristin Skjølaas is a Norwegian violinist born in 1973 in Oslo. She teaches at Barratt Due musikkinstitutt and performs chamber music with various ensembles. Skjølaas has toured India with violinist Lakshminarayana Subramaniam and has been a member of the string quartet Strings Unlimited since 1999. In 2005, she joined the Oslo Philharmonic and has performed as a soloist with multiple orchestras. She has contributed to several albums and was involved in children's concerts, earning the Mariss Jansons Stipend for her efforts.
