She served as a member of the Russian PEN Center and the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation, holding the position of secretary from 2011 to 2021 and chairing the dramaturgy commission from 2010 to 2021. She was the daughter of writer Viktor Yuzefovich Dragunsky and the sister of writer Denis Dragunsky.
