She is a graduate of the Takarazuka Revue, having performed in the Hanagumi, Hoshigumi, and specialized male roles. Born in Kumamoto City and raised in Kobe, her real name is Kumiko Hayashi. During her time in the Takarazuka Revue, she was known by the nickname 'Rin' due to her last name and had a stage height of 167 cm.
