Kumiko Takahashi is a Japanese animator and character designer born on February 20 in Saitama Prefecture. She is recognized for her contributions as a character designer and animation director in various anime series, including Cardcaptor Sakura, Witch Hunter Robin, and Ouran High School Host Club. Takahashi began her career as an in-between animator in the 1982 film Mobile Suit Gundam III, and later debuted as a key animator with Giant Gorg in 1984. She won the Best Animator award in 2015 for her work on Fullmetal Alchemist.
