He started his musical journey at Miao Li County's Nanzhuang Junior High School, influenced by his father, a former coal miner. He trained under one of Taiwan's renowned drummers and has worked with notable bands like the Sanli Grand Band. He became prominent through a TV variety show segment and has been active in music for years, leading his own band and participating in musical tributes.
