Benjamin Lakdasa 'Lucky' Victor de Silva Kodituwakku (1941-2002) was the 26th Inspector General of Police in Sri Lanka. He began his police career in 1966, serving in various regions before rising to the position of Inspector General in 1998. Known for initiating police training on human rights and public relations, Kodituwakku faced controversy over his appointment. He aimed for police reform but died while in office at age 61, making him the only IGP to do so. He is remembered for his contributions and his son also served in the police force.
