Edward Langton Iliffe, 2nd Baron Iliffe, (1908–1996) was a British peer and RAF intelligence officer during WWII. He succeeded his father as Baron Iliffe in 1960. A prominent figure in the family business overseeing several newspapers, he restored Basildon Park with his wife, donating it to the National Trust. Their marriage was childless, and upon his death, the title passed to his nephew. Iliffe was deeply interested in arts and architecture, influenced by notable friends. He passed away in 1996, and his wife followed in 2007.
