Lars Thorbjörn Collin (April 2, 1925 – March 27, 2013) was a Swedish engineer known for his contributions in the field of combustion engine technology. He graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology in 1950, furthered his studies at MIT, and held several significant roles including department head at AB Götaverken and deputy professor at Chalmers. He had a prolific career writing articles on marine engines and held multiple patents. Collin was buried at Fässbergs kyrkogård.
