Öjborn served as a teacher at KTH and was involved in several committees, including negotiations concerning the Norwegian border. He was also a member of the Swedish Academy of Forestry and Agriculture. Throughout his career, he contributed works on land allocation, valuation, and organizational issues in professional literature.
