Lars Ratz, born Lars Ranzerberger on February 21, 1968, in Schleswig, was a German bassist and music producer. He was best known as one of the founding members of the band Metalium. Ratz made significant contributions to the metal music scene through his work with Metalium until his passing on April 18, 2021, in Villafranca de Bonany, Mallorca.
