Laura Lähteenmäki, born on January 13, 1973, in Jyväskylä, is a Finnish author and publishing manager. She graduated with a master's degree from the University of Jyväskylä in 1998. Her debut youth novel, Rinkkadonna, was published the same year by WSOY. She has co-written the Salakari detective series for children. Lähteenmäki has received several awards including the Arvid Lydecken Prize and nominations for Finlandia Junior and Topelius Prize.
