Caught from 250 children, he delivered a memorable line but struggled with the script, creating an endearing blunder. The commercial was dubbed the 'Petje Pitamientje commercial' and was later awarded the best television ad of the past 25 years in 1991. Rumors of his death circulated briefly, prompting him and his family to go into hiding. He acted again only once in a 2006 advertisement.
