Laurent Dognin, born on January 3, 1953, in Paris, is a French bishop who has served as the bishop of Quimper and Léon since 2015, succeeding Jean-Marie Le Vert. He was ordained in 1980 in the diocese of Nanterre and was appointed as auxiliary bishop of Bourges by Pope Benedict XVI in January 2011. His official appointment as bishop of Quimper and Léon came on May 20, 2015. Dognin is known for reorganizing the parishes within his diocese, leading to the creation of twenty new parishes since September 2017.
