Lawrence Oluwawemimo Arokodare was a Nigerian civil engineer born on March 15, 1938, in Ijero Ekiti, Ekiti State. He co-founded the civil engineering consultancy firm Etteh Aro and Partners, promoting indigenous capacity in the profession. Arokodare began his career with Ove Arup and Partners in 1964 before moving to private practice in 1970. His firm sponsored over 55 engineering personnel for postgraduate studies abroad, and he contributed to various civil engineering projects throughout his career. He passed away on March 26, 1993.
