Layla Al-Attar was an Iraqi painter and art administrator, born in 1944 and passed away on June 27, 1993. She served as director of the Iraqi National Museum of Modern Art and the Fine Arts Directorate, and managed the Saddam Center for the Arts and Baghdad Hall. A member of the Iraqi Artists Union and Association, she held five solo exhibitions in Iraq and participated in various exhibitions abroad, including the Cairo Biennale in 1984.
