Lea Vivot, born Drahomíra Hekelová on February 25, 1948, in Temenice, is a Canadian sculptor of Czech descent residing in Kleinburg, Ontario. She is known for her life-sized bronze sculptures depicting pairs of lovers, parents with children, and other themes that are often controversial and provocative. Many of her works include bronze benches and can vary across cities. Besides bronze, she creates sculptures from wood, marble, concrete, and terracotta, as well as drawings and graphics. Her business model involves lending sculptures indefinitely before eventually charging for their placement.
