As a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR), he also holds the position of Division Chief in Bukit Mertajam. He is affiliated with the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition, which was formerly known as Pakatan Rakyat (PR). His political career focuses on local representation and party leadership.
