Leif Olsen Aasen was a Norwegian resistance fighter and saboteur active against the Nazi regime during World War II. Born on February 15, 1918, in Vestby, he worked as a telegraphist and was a member of the Osvald group, led by Asbjørn Sunde. Under the alias 'Hagen,' Aasen undertook illegal activities against the German occupation. He later fled to Sweden and served in Norwegian police forces before returning to Norway for a secret mission. He was killed in action during a raid in Hvitsten on October 15, 1944, and is buried in Vestby.
