Helena Maria Öst, known as Lena Öst, is a Swedish singer born on November 30, 1958, in Vantörs parish, Stockholm. She belongs to the famous Öst musician family from Hälsingland and is the daughter of Berndt Öst and Ulla Blomqvist. Lena began her music career by participating in her grandmother's records. From 1983 to 1989, she was a member of the last formation of Family Four, founded by her father in 1964, and later joined 3xÖst. She was married to musician Pierre Nilson from 1995 to 2008.
