Zainuddin bin Saleh, known as Lengkuas, was a Malaysian comic artist born on September 26, 1964, in Kampung Aji, Bota Kiri, Perak. He gained fame for his works, particularly 'Mat Despatch' published in Ujang magazine and 'Yob Peon' in Lanun magazine. Lengkuas faced kidney issues around 2014 and was hospitalized for dialysis treatment. He passed away on August 11, 2017, due to complications related to high blood pressure and kidney problems, and was buried the same day after Asr prayers.
