Lenka Vydra Šmídová, born on March 26, 1975, in Havlíčkův Brod, is a Czech sailor and sailing coach. She earned a silver medal in the Europe class at the 2004 Athens Olympics. After the Europe class was removed from the Olympic program, she transitioned to the 470 class, competing alongside American Elizabeth Kratzigova and later with Lenka Mrzlikova for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, securing their spot by finishing 22nd at the World Championship in January 2008. She grew up in Neratovice and is affiliated with the Yacht Club Neratovice.
