Leo Martello (September 26, 1930 - June 29, 2000) was an American Wiccan priest, LGBTQ rights activist, and author. He was a founding member of Stregheria, a form of modern paganism rooted in Italian tradition. Despite being raised Roman Catholic, he became interested in the occult as a teenager and publicly identified as Wiccan in 1969. Martello advocated for LGBTQ rights post-Stonewall riots, became a founding member of the Gay Activists Alliance, and later established Witches International Craft Associates. He continued practicing Wicca until his death from cancer in 2000.
