Leonid Iwanowitsch Schdanow, born on February 18, 1938, in Markomussy, Russia, is a Soviet-Russian vice admiral. He served as the 15th and last commander of the Caspian Higher Naval School of the Soviet Navy from 1987 to 1992. His military career has contributed significantly to naval education and training within the Soviet naval forces.
