Leslie Allen Joslin is a retired American naval officer and natural resource manager, born on April 15, 1943. He served twenty-two years in the U.S. Navy and later worked as a natural resource manager with the U.S. Forest Service in Oregon. Joslin is also an educator, having taught at Central Oregon Community College and Oregon State University. He has authored or edited eleven books, primarily focusing on topics related to the Forest Service and Oregon. Additionally, he is recognized for his lectures on forest resources and the history of central Oregon.
