Leslie Edward Stradling was an Anglican bishop who served in three African dioceses in the mid-20th century. Born in 1908, he was educated at King Edward VII School and The Queen's College, Oxford. Stradling was ordained a deacon in 1933 and a priest in 1934. He became the youngest bishop in the Church in 1945 and later served as the Bishop of South-West Tanganyika in 1952. His last position was as Bishop of Johannesburg, and he passed away in Cape Town in 1998.
