Lev Konstantinovich Korneshov, also known by his literary pseudonym Lev Konstantinov, was a Russian Soviet writer, publicist, and screenwriter born on March 17, 1934, in Machebilevo, Kharkiv Oblast. He served as the editor-in-chief of the newspaper 'Komsomolskaya Pravda' from 1973 to 1978. Korneshov was a member of several creative unions including the Union of Journalists of the USSR, the Union of Writers of the USSR, and the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR. He passed away on March 1, 2005, in Moscow.
