Lev Sergeyevich Petrov (November 20, 1922 – July 6, 1970) was a Soviet journalist and translator, best known for his collaboration with Arkady Strugatsky on the documentary narrative 'Ashes of Bikini' (1956-1958). He was the son-in-law of Nikita Khrushchev, married to his adopted granddaughter Yulia Leonidovna Khrushcheva, and the father of Nina Lvovna Khrushcheva. It is suggested that Petrov played a vital role in bringing Khrushchev's dictated memoirs into literary form and may have even initiated the project.
