Liana Kanelli is a Greek journalist and politician, born on March 20, 1954. She has been a member of the Hellenic Parliament for the Communist Party of Greece since 2000. Kanelli studied law at the University of Athens and began her journalism career in 1973, gaining recognition from Prime Minister Konstantinos Karamanlis as a 'child of new democracy.' In addition to her Greek heritage, she is fluent in three foreign languages: English, French, and Italian.
