Liang Shuquan (1912–2006) was a prominent Chinese chemist known for his significant contributions to the field of chemistry. He graduated from Yanjing University in 1933 and earned his Ph.D. in Munich in 1937, where he determined the atomic mass of iron, a measure adopted by the International Commission on Atomic Weights. He became a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1955 and received the Tan Kah-Kee Science Award in 1995. Notably, he conducted important analyses of rare earth elements in Bayan Obo iron ore.
