Lindy Hou, born on February 18, 1960, is a prominent para-cyclist from Hong Kong who moved to Australia in 1974. Diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa in the 1980s, she became completely blind by 1996. Despite her challenges, she has won six medals at the 2004 and 2008 Paralympic Games. Lindy began competing in tandem cycling in 1999 and founded the 'Athena Express' team. She is also a former triathlete and coach and has transitioned to roles as a massage therapist and motivational speaker.
