Liu Guozhong is a Chinese communist politician born in July 1962. He has been a member of the Politburo since 2022 and served as Vice Premier since 2023. His previous roles include Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party (2020–2022) and Governor of Shaanxi (2018–2020). He also served as Governor of Jilin (2016–2018) and held several positions in the Sichuan Provincial Committee and All-China Federation of Trade Unions. Before 2013, he spent over two decades in various government and party roles in Heilongjiang Province.
