Llucieta Canyà i Martí (1901-1980) was a Catalan writer and speaker known for her conservative Catholic feminism. Born in La Bisbal d'Empordà, she moved to Barcelona, where she began her literary career in the late 1920s. Her most famous work, 'L'etern femení' (1934), explores women's roles in society. Canyà was also involved in feminist journalism and held a regular column in 'La Veu de Catalunya'. She was married twice and had one son. Following the Spanish Civil War, her literary output slowed but saw a resurgence in the 1950s.
