Locko is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter, and beatmaker known for his RnB and afropop music. Born Charles Arthur Locko Samba on May 8, 1992, in Douala, he gained fame by posting numerous cover songs on YouTube, becoming the first Cameroonian to do so. Initially performing under the name Shawmey Locko, he switched to Locko in 2015 when he released his debut single 'Margo'. He was recognized as the RnB revelation of the year in Cameroon in 2017 and has since become one of the top voices in Francophone Africa.
