Dato’ Loganathan Arumugam, known as Loga, was a prominent Malaysian musician and singer born on 15 July 1953. He was a founding member and lead singer of the band Alleycats, alongside his brother David. Loga contributed significantly to the Malaysian music scene until his untimely death from lung cancer on 4 June 2007. He is survived by his wife Susan Lovie and their two children. Posthumously, he was awarded the DIMP title on 24 October 2008, recognizing his contributions to music and culture.
