He joined the team in the second draft of 2006 and had notable performances in team matches and individual leagues, especially reaching the round of 16 in the GomTV MSL. Despite struggles in later tournaments, he earned recognition for his exceptional control and strategic skills, achieving a dark horse status in his career. He retired in November 2011 after the disbandment of Hwasung OZ.
