Lorenzo Carrascal Román (1932-2008) was a Spanish priest and influential music figure. He served as the Chapel Master of the Cathedral of Palencia from 1959 until retirement and was also a teacher at the San Francisco Jesuit School. He founded several choirs, including the Círculo Mercantil Choir and the Capilla Clásica of the Cathedral. Carrascal was a prolific composer, authoring over 180 vocal and instrumental works, with notable pieces such as the Hymn to San Antolín and the Mass in Honor of San Antolín.
