Louise Marjorie Asher, born on June 26, 1956, is a retired Australian politician known for her long service in the Liberal Party. She represented the Brighton electorate in the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2018, and was previously a member of the Victorian Legislative Council representing Monash Province from 1992 to 1999. Asher was the second longest-serving Deputy Leader of the Victorian Liberal Party, holding the position from 1999 to 2002 and again from 2006 to 2014, and served as a minister in three government administrations.
