Lucienne L’Heureux-Arel, born on January 6, 1931, in St. Jude, Québec, is a Canadian organist and music educator. She studied piano and organ, and later married organist Gaston Arel. As a performing artist, she has played in Canada, the USA, England, and Belgium, and served as a professor of organ at various institutions, including the École normale de musique from 1966 to 1983. L’Heureux-Arel was also active with the ensemble Ars Organi and participated in significant performances, such as the premiere of Jean Chatillon’s Suite pantomime at Expo 67.
