Luis García Serna, born on June 28, 1930, in Manzanares, Spain, was a prominent Spanish long-distance runner. He won a silver medal in the 10,000 meters at the 1955 Mediterranean Games and a silver in the 5,000 meters along with a bronze in the 10,000 meters at the 1959 Mediterranean Games. García also participated in international cross country championships from 1954 to 1963, achieving a top finish of 10th place in 1955. He was a Spanish champion in cross country and achieved several podium finishes in national 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters events.
