Luis Beltrán Pantoja Calvo is a retired Peruvian lawyer, police officer, and politician. He is currently the mayor of Cusco province, elected in the 2022 municipal elections. Born on December 20, 1958, in Urcos, he served in the Civil Guard and later the National Police of Peru. Pantoja entered politics in 2018, running for mayor but finishing second. After leaving his initial party, he joined the Inka Pachakuteq Regional Movement and successfully ran for mayor in 2022, securing 27.64% of the votes.
