Luis Villodas Ramírez, known as 'King Kong', was a Puerto Rican catcher in the Negro leagues, playing primarily for the Baltimore Elite Giants in 1946 and 1947. He was born on January 4, 1918, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and later played in minor leagues until 1955. Villodas was recognized for his contributions to baseball and was inducted into the Puerto Rican Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993. He passed away in Ponce on August 21, 1994, at the age of 76.
