Lula Mae Hardaway was an American songwriter and the mother of blind soul musician Stevie Wonder. She spent most of her adulthood in Saginaw, Michigan, before moving to Los Angeles in 1975. Lula co-wrote many songs with her son during his school years, including the hits 'I Was Made to Love Her' and 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours'. For her work on the latter, she received a Grammy nomination. She passed away at the age of 76.
