Lütfi Elvan is a Turkish politician born on March 12, 1962. He serves as a member of the Turkish Parliament representing the Justice and Development Party. Since November 10, 2020, he has been the Minister of Finance and Treasury, succeeding Berat Albayrak. Previously, he held the position of Minister of Transport in the third government of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the first government of Ahmet Davutoğlu, and he was the Deputy Prime Minister in Davutoğlu's third government before resigning on December 2, 2021.
