Lydia Pena París is a retired Catalan handball and squash player and sports administrator, born on January 28, 1959, in Barcelona. She began playing handball at age sixteen, competing with Club Balonmano Rancho from 1976 to 1987, winning the first Copa de la Reina in 1980 and two league runner-up titles. She represented Spain internationally 41 times, winning a silver medal at the 1979 Mediterranean Games. After a successful career in handball, she also excelled in squash and became a sports manager, currently serving as vice president of the Catalan Handball Federation.
